Fall Western Lifestyle Portrait Photography Workshop

Hosted by the Montana Professional Photographers Association, the workshop will be held at the historic Staubach Creek Ranch in Winston, MT on Sunday, September 21, 2025 starting at 10am and will end later in the day. This is a "live" hands-on workshop with models, with make-up and hair provide by artist Aaris Kunesh. You will have top photographers from the Montana Professional Photographers Association working with while you create the images. Genres will include wedding style, individual portrait, family/group portrait, equine, landscape, equine and cowboy/cowgirl. The day will begin with some classroom time and discussion, and then we'll move right into the fun of creating images. We will use examples natural light along with supplemental flash/strobe set-ups to create fun and dramatic looks. The supplemental lighting gear will be provided by the instructors, but you are welcome to bring your own. A one-night lodging option is available for the guest house or Cowboy Hideaway (pond-side glamping tent) if you wish to stay overnight and participate in the Sunday evening sunset and Monday morning sunrise photography session.
